Here at Jesus Lane we don’t allow people to use the lift if there is no-one on duty/present who has the know how to lower the lift and release its occupants. We also have a loud handbell inside the lift so that people can raise the alarm. In Friendship Kirsten Lavers Warden, Jesus Lane Quaker Meeting House 07545 218251 Day off Mondays

Looking for help, suggestions and ideas.
We are just considering how best to address the issue of the lift breaking down (with people inside) if there is no one else in the building? The lift call out charge for this is over £2,000 and beyond our means. We recognise that some people have a mobile and therefore have a means of outside contact if this situation arises. We wondered what other meetings do?
In anticipation Amanda clerk of Sheffield Central Quakers.
