(With my hat on as a Hammersmith premises person as well as staff member here.) To add to what John said about Hammersmith Meeting House: we were broadly offered like for like in the redevelopment, and the previous MH also had individual unisex cubicles, so that's what we got in the new one, plus a large accessible cubicle. From a hire point of view at Hammersmith, for the most part it's been no different than it was at the previous MH, as we had the same arrangement there. There's a glass panel in the door from the lobby leading to the short corridor with the unisex loo cubicles, which helps with safety. I am only aware of one big issue, in that we used to have a mother and baby breastfeeding group meet, then an all-male worshipping group hired another room, and as I was told, the mother and baby group cancelled their hire because they found it difficult to share the loos with all the men needing to use the facilities, and also the state that the men left the loos in. (We now ask the men's worship group to hire the whole building, and they provide their own cleaner, too.) I don't know where the mother and baby group now meet, which I feel somewhat guilty about. We don't have any further data on who has not hired, or who has chosen to hire, based on the unisex cubicle facilities Hammersmith offers - that might be a useful thing for us to ask all potential hires at the point after they have either declined to hire, or booked to hire. with all my best, Lorna. Hammersmith Meeting House (2020) was designed and built with individual cubicles.
Forest Hill MH major refurbishment converted existing (gents & ladies) into individual cubicles.
Lots of smaller MHs have one or two unlabelled WCs.

Hello Friends,
Was asked if any meeting house is thinking of changing their signs for toilet facilities either in response to the ECHR guidelines or the recent statement on toilet facilities by Paul Parker at Yearly Meeting.
You can read that statement of policy at that link <https://www.quaker.org.uk/documents/statement-of-policy-on-provision-of-tran...> .
The client who asked has a small building with two signposted bathrooms and one accessible, and has been planning a refurbishment for a couple of years.
Are people thinking of moving forward to individual toilet cubicles? Has anyone already done this?
Yours in peace,
Wendrie Heywood
