Dear Jane,
The questions that come to my mind are:
1. It is important that you get your time off duty, so might extra bookings only be acceptable if there is another staff member, or volunteer, who can cover those duties?
2. Might you want to discuss with your committee whether your living accommodation is reasonably quiet, whenever you're off duty?
3. How desperate is your local Meeting for the income?
4. At Winchester Meeting House we have three part-time wardens, who cover 7 days per week between them, and there are short quiet times here and there.
5. We have regular groups on Saturday and Sunday evenings, only occasionally activities on Sunday afternoons.
6. Perhaps your committee could come to an agreement with you, what the 'opening hours' should be, i.e. when rooms are or are not available for hire.
Best of luck,
Lorraine
