We are a small Meeting House so you cannot get lost but recently both a new and occasional hirer left our unstaffed building not fully ready for the next hirer. Although I had sent messages by email, our cleaner, who had to put right their omissions, pointed out that emails, once read in advance of a booking, may not be remembered on the day. Also the recent Meeting House Matters notes from Oliver of the session on Marketing reminded me we do not even have a Welcome message. I realised I could do better with signage for users. Having recently been rereading Open for Transformation by Ben Pink Dandelion for ideas about Simplifying, I have put up this poster: WELCOME TO EPPING QUAKER MEETING HOUSE Guidance on using the building and leaving it ready for the next group is on our notice boards Instructions for using the Kitchen are on the window In front of the sink We do not have a caretaker who tidies up Our building is cleaned once a week Report any issues by email to eppingquakersroomhire@gmail.com Emergency contact number *xxxxxx* Quakers have been described as a do-it-together religious community We run our building the same way! Many thanks to you all *Christine Downes-GraingerBooking ClerkEpping MH* On Sat, 8 Apr 2023 at 19:15, Winchmore Hill Quakers Premises Committee < whqpremises@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi Miranda,
I have in the past used Fastsigns (https://www.fastsigns.co.uk/), I believe they are franchised so your experience may vary but I have found them to be reasonably priced and able to provide many different types of signage. I recently had a newsletter from them about wayfinding signage so obviously something they are aware of. Their nearest location appears to be York but perhaps they would be willing to travel from there or able to help remotely.
Kind regards,

Hello,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a firm that could help us develop/improve our wayfinding signage in our building?
Have any of you created or updated your signage and have any feedback to share about the process?
Many thanks,
Miranda Girdlestone
