Hi everyone

Rookhow's 300th anniversary: Saturday 7th June

'Connecting people; building community'

This June, Rookhow celebrates its 300th anniversary. Rookhow was built in 1725 as a gathering place for Quakers. Today it continues to be a special place open to the wider community where people can come for rest and reconnection. We're planning a celebration weekend 6th-8th June at Rookhow.

We encourage people to make their own pilgrimage to Rookhow either by cycling from local Quaker Meeting Houses, walking over High Dam from Newby Bridge or parking nearby and walking (there will be spaces for those with limited mobility). Open to all Rookhow supporters, not just Quakers. We hope some of the organisations who use Rookhow will take part. We're hoping people will come forward to form a 'hosting' team to stay at Rookhow for the weekend to welcome people who are journeying to Rookhow on the Saturday. £20 each per night.

For more information and to book a place: CLICK HERE or get in touch if you have any questions.

To mark the occasion we're going to produce a memory book, so please either bring photos and memories you can write in the book or if you're not able to come in person, please send them to me if you are ok for them to be shared and we will add them to the book.
