HI Nick, Here at Norwich we switched to Virgin Media fibre optic 1 Gig because it was the only option available at the time. 1 Gig is available on 5 Ghz, which is ultra fast but doesn't offer the building coverage we require. The network speeds are slower at 2.4Ghz but the building coverage is better. This is still fast enough for video conferencing in multiple rooms, if user groups bring their own conferencing equipment. I have 2 networks set up on the 2.4Ghz frequency - one for the office and another for building users. This means the office computer, digital display board and printer aren't accessible to our user groups. I have two wi-fi extenders boosting the signal for building users. The system has been flawless in operation, once I set it up. Dear friends, We are currently looking into installing WiFi at Littlehampton. The choices are a little overwhelming. Does anyone who already has WiFi have a recomendation? Many thanks, Nick Wriglesworth (Warden-Littlehampton)
