Hello, While I'm not in the YFGM (Young Friends General Meeting 18 - 35) age bracket any more they've asked me to help find them some venues. So, I am attempting to find meeting houses that would be willing to host/hire them over a weekend.
Young Friends General Meeting (YFGM) is the national community for young adults (18-35) within the Religious Society of Friends.
Our name refers to both our organisation and to the three general meetings (or gatherings)
They're looking for six bookings per year: *Three gathering weekends:* (60/70 people) February, May, and October each year (May includes the bank holiday Monday). A minimum 5 rooms with level access to the majority (2 meeting rooms, noms, bags, break out) plus kitchen (which can cater for 60/70 people), accessible toilets. *Three planning weekends*: (25 people), held six weeks (ish) before the gathering weekend. 3 rooms plus kitchen Slightly less accessibility requirements but full kitchen required.
