Hi Martin When we had our hearing loop installed, they hung an omnidirectional microphone from the centre of our ceiling. I'm not sure whether this is the cheapest option but it seems to work well. The furthest point from the table would be around 8M and the lead from the mic to the amplifier needs to be 4M long. I'd be interested in other Meetings experience and feedback before spending money. Oh, and the budget is tight, so a readily available second hand unit would be preferable. -- Kind regards, Martin Lacey, Meeting House Manager Norwich Quaker Meeting House Upper Goat Lane, Norwich NR2 1EW t: 01603 624854 m:07857 167322 Weekdays 9 - 1 norwichquakers.org.uk<https://www.norwichquakers.org.uk/>
