At Ipswich, we have a resident warden in tied accommodation. The warden is responsible for their own council tax, utility bills and contents insurance, the rest is the responsibility of the Area Meeting. It is a separate address for metering and council tax purposes, although in practice the post comes to the Meeting House letter box with the Quaker mail. Dear Wardenship Friends
I have been asked to post the following question on behalf of a member of the group:
For those who live in Meeting Houses, what arrangement do you have for paying Council Tax? Do you pay it or does your Meeting pay it?
I look forward to receiving your responses which will appear on the group and be seen by the enquirer.
In friendship Judi
